Lord of Shadows
Hades, the brother of Zeus and Poseidon, who elected to rule over the skies and seas, opted for the Underworld as his domain. Surrounded by fire, storms, and the souls of the undead, he looks upon his shadowy realm with his flaming bident in hand and trusty three-headed guard dog Cerberus by his side. While Zeus and Hades generally get along, they’re prone to butting heads, as siblings often do.
Hades came out of the blocks swinging - almost literally. His debut appearance at Pragmatic Play was in Zeus vs Hades – Gods of War, taking his brother head on in a battle of godliness. The lord of the Underworld was sent back to his realm licking his wounds in the infernal Gates of Hades, featuring 100x multipliers, before coming back for round two in the extra epic Zeus vs Hades – Gods of War 250.
Hades is into the usual kind of things that a single, middle-aged man with a pet is into, like going for long walks, sharpening his weapon, and torturing the eternal souls of the damned. When he’s not at work, he’s busy playing Gates of Olympus to try to find one of Zeus’ weaknesses ahead of their next battle.
Down in the Underworld, when Zeus is busy dishing out 100x multipliers onto his reels, the immortal spirits of the deceased are allowed to have a break and watch
The progressive multiplier symbols above each reel in the bonus game burn at just over 444 °C
Hades was originally going to name each of the heads of his dog, but when they all responded to the name Cerberus, he decided to just leave it there.
